Credit Agricole names new chief representative officer for Indonesia

Alexis Rafiidson succeeds Xavier Roux, who is retiring.

Credit Agricole CIB has appointed Alexis Rafidison as chief representative officer for Indonesia, effective 15 July.

Rafidison succeeds Xavier Roux, who is retiring.

Rafidison will be based in Jakarta and will report to Jean-Francois Deroche, senior regional officer for Asia Pacific at Credit Agricole CIB.

In his new role, Rafidison is responsible for exploring local business opportunities and supporting Credit Agricole’s developments in Indonsia.

Crédit Agricole CIB’s clientele in Indonesia includes domestic public sector and large conglomerates, as well as financial institutions and locally based multinational corporations. The bank serves inbound and outbound clients’ financial strategies by connecting them to its international network of products and sectorial expertise: debt and loan instruments, project finance, international trade and export finance and commodity finance.

The bank said that it will continue “to support and accompany Indonesian players in their sustainable finance and energy transition initiatives.”

On a separate report, banks in Indonesia are expected to see their bad loans fall further in 2024 amidst ongoing economic recovery.
