MR. D.I.Y. Thailand takes home win at Retail Asia Awards 2024

At the core of its growth lies a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction.

Home improvement retailer MR. D.I.Y. brought home the Specialty Store of the Year - Thailand category win at the prestigious Retail Asia Awards 2024 for its value to innovation, ensuring a wide range of products that epitomises excellence in quality whilst providing value for money.

Its successful performance in Thailand has been attributed to several factors, including its strong brand reputation, commitment to providing quality products of over 15,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs) at affordable prices, and convenient store locations. As of last year, it has expanded its presence with over 740 stores in 73 provinces in the country, with a landmark Thailand’s first flagship store in the past year for the opening of its 700th store.

The company has also embraced an omnichannel strategy, seamlessly integrating online and offline channels and providing a holistic shopping experience for customers. In the past year, MR. D.I.Y. has launched its e-commerce channel at www.mrdiy.co.th and joined hands with marketplaces Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok to provide more convenience to its customers, who can shop 24 hours a day.

It also stands out in terms of product diversity, offering a wide range of over 15,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs) across six main categories: Hardware, Household & Furnishing, Electrical, Stationery & Sports, Toys, and Others. This diverse product portfolio caters to a broad spectrum of customer needs.

MR. D.I.Y. has also successfully navigated the complexities brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, resolving the challenge of temporary closures for its department by implementing an adaptable and standalone approach. With a current workforce of over 9,000 employees, the company remains committed to its core values of convenience, product diversity, and competitive pricing.

“As MR. D.I.Y. continues to evolve and innovate, it solidifies its position as a distinguished brand that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of its valued customers," the company said.
