Furla expands presence with new stores in Asian airports
Italian retailer Furla is continuing to expand its presence in travel retail across Asia.
Its newest Asian airport openings include new stores at KLIA 2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India.
The KLIA store spans 60sqm and is operated with Eraman Malaysia while the Mumbai store measures 20sqm and is operated with Nuance India.
“We have a huge amount of activity taking place in Asia this year with new locations opening across the region, including Cambodia, Japan, Hainan, China, and Thailand,” said Gerry Munday, Furla’s global travel retail director.
The Italian retailer has also partnered with Hong Kong’s Fung Group earlier this year and plans to open more than 100 stores in China.
