Reliance Brands brings Italian luxury brand Valentino to India

Its first boutique will open in Delhi. 

Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) will be bringing Indian shoppers Italian Maison de Couture Valentino in 2022. 

Under a long-term distribution agreement, Reliance Brands will be opening Valentino’s first boutique in Delhi in 2022, and later a flagship store in Mumbai. 

“Valentino needs no introduction in India. Founded by the legendary Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, Valentino has gone through impactful creative evolution under the current Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and CEO Jacopo Venturini heralding the brand into contemporary luxury while leveraging its heritage as the most established Italian Maison de Couture,” Darshan Mehta, MD of Reliance Brands Limited, said.

The Delhi store will span 162 square metres, and will be located at the DLF Emporio. The new boutique and flagship stores will offer a complete range of Valentino products across womenswear, menswear, footwear, and accessories.

It will also feature an experiential design to provide customers with a global experience.

“The upcoming store opening represents a significant step in Valentino’s global strategy, and we are honored to be part of the country’s growing retail market, allowing the company and the Valentino Community to grow in a solid way, according to our values and brand culture,” Jacopo Venturini, CEO of Maison Valentino, said. 

The brand is currently present in 144 locations through 212 boutiques directly operated by Valentino.
