Better quality products are the top driver for cross-border purchases.

Asia Pacific consumers are looking at international retailers with 52% of customers in the region saying they often buy from businesses overseas, led by Chinese and Thai shoppers.

According to a DHL report, 20% of Chinese and 23% of Thais buy at least once daily from overseas retailers.

Consumers in the region cited better quality products as the top reason for buying overseas at 44%, followed by the lack of product or brand in the country at 43%.
