Here's what to expect after DBS quits Danamon deal
DBS Indonesia plans setting up a local data centre.
According to Maybank Kim Eng, management remains confident of maintaining top line growth of about 10-11% per annum just on DBS’ core businesses and the strategies that it has in place right now to drive growth in areas such as trade financing, wealth management and global transaction services.
Efforts will also be made to drive DBS Indonesia more aggressively.
"The bank has seen a topline growth CAGR of 65% over the past three years. DBS Indonesia is positioned primarily as a corporate bank and will not require as large a branch network. The immediate priority will be in setting up a local data centre and invest in technology to roll out more applications."
