Hang Seng Bank names Cheung Ka Ki as head of corporate governance

Cheung is also the new company secretary beginning 17 April.

Hang Seng Bank has appointed Cheung Ka Ki as company secretary and head of corporate governance effective 17 April.

Cheung has also been named as a member of the bank’s executive committee.

Godwin Li, who currently serves as company secretary and general council, will step down from the role but continue to be the general council and a member of the executive committee.

Prior to joining Hang Seng Bank, Cheung was senior director, company secretariat, and legal (PRC) at Kerry Properties. She has over 20 years of experience in legal counsel and company secretarial services, according to Hang Seng Bank.

Cheung was admitted as solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales, as well  as general mediator in Hong Kong. She holds a Master of Laws degree from the  University College London.
