DongA to sell 15% to foreign investors
DongA plans to sell a 15 per cent stake to foreign investors to raise $42.85 million. The bank didn’t name possible
buyers.
The sale is part of DongA’s plan to raise its registered capital to US$287.59 million within this year from the current US$215.69 million, the Ho Chi Minh City-based bank said.
DongA Bank has set a target of generating a pretax profit of US$62.3 million this year, up from US$41 million last year. It said its total assets are expected to rise 27 per cent from last year to US$3.35 billion by the end of this year.
