ANZ, NAB least liked Australian banks
Business customers rank both the worst for 12 months.
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group and National Australia Bank are the least popular among Australia’s Big Four banks, according to business customers.
A survey of satisfaction by the Australian Associated Press among business customers of the Big Four shows NAB and ANZ ranked below Commonwealth and Westpac for every one of the past 12 months.
ANZ and NAB both had an average business customer satisfaction rating of 7.0 in the financial year ending June. In contrast, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac Banking Corporation or Westpac finished the financial year with average business customer satisfaction ratings of 7.4 and 7.3 out of 10, respectively.
Analysts said Westpac and Commonwealth had done a better job of keeping their customers happy, and noted that business decision makers have consistently rated Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank highest.
