AgBank adding 1,500 more ATMs throughout China

NCR Corporation will supply the ATMs.

Agricultural Bank of China has ordered over 1,500 NCR SelfServ ATMs, including both SelfServ 22 and SelfServ 25 models, and will deploy the ATMs in 18 provinces across China during the third and fourth quarters. NCR also will provide ongoing maintenance services for the newly purchased ATMs.

In 2011, NCR won a service contract to provide hardware maintenance services for all 10,000 NCR-branded ATMs at AgBank. All NCR SelfServ ATMs feature self-healing technologies that enable the ATM to recover automatically, and have conservation features that make it one of the most environmentally positive ATMs on the market.

NCR SelfServ ATM models in the AgBank order will be equipped with the latest NCR safe, which is designed to offer increased physical security levels with thicker walls and tougher composite steel and concrete construction.
