Maybank names John Lee Hin Hock Chief Risk Officer

The lender banks on Lee’s specialisation in business strategy, risk management and performance management.

Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has appointed Dr John Lee Hin Hock as group chief risk officer effective January 17.

In a statement, Maybank said prior to the appointment, Lee has served in financial services consulting and advisory as a partner with KPMG Business Advisory for the past 13 years.

"His in-depth financial industry and risk management expertise with a specialisation in business strategy, risk management and performance management will be an asset to the bank," it said.
