Hang Seng Bank to reopen nine branches
Three in Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon, and three in New Territories.
Hang Seng Bank will reopen nine street-level branches starting 16 March, according to a news release.
The branches are located at United Centre (Admiralty), Sheung Wan, and City Garden Prestige and Preferred Banking Centre (North Point) in Hong Kong Island; 141 Prince Edward Road, Waterloo Road Prestige and Preferred Banking Centre, and Whampoa Estate Prestige and Preferred Banking Centre in Kowloon; and East Point City (Tseung Kwan O), Tai Wan, and Tuen Mun Town Plaza Prestige and Preferred Banking Centre in New Territories.
The bank will be implementing deep cleaning schedules, portable acrylic screens at bank counters, and requiring staff to wear masks and wash their hands to ensure customers’ protection.
Clients will be regularly checked for temperature and required to wear masks.
Other nine street-level branches, 10 MTR station outlets, a sales and service centre, and three business banking centres will remain closed until further notice.
