DBS expands mobile banking and payment apps services
Customers can now scan to pay 7-Eleven stores via QR codes.
DBS Bank’s mobile banking and payment apps joins other payment conveniences such as payWave, Apple Pay, Android Pay in 7-Eleven Singapore’s range of easy cashless services. Starting January 1, 2018, customers can now scan to pay via QR codes on the NETS QR-enabled payment terminal of the DBS PayLah!, DBS/POSB digibank, DBS iWealth® apps.
“Over the years, DBS Bank has been leading the way in providing seamless and user-friendly options for Singaporeans to go cashless for most aspects of their daily lives,” Anthony Seow, head of cards and unsecured loans of DBS Bank says. “With our latest partnership with 7-Eleven, we are expanding our channels to enable customers to transact seamlessly across multiple touchpoints, no matter which mobile and banking app they use.”
DBS PayLah!, DBS/POSB digibank, DBS iWealth® are mobile banking apps that allow users to scan and make payment with QR codes. All DBS PayLah! users, including non-DBS/POSB customers, can make use of the service as long as they have a registered bank account that offers FAST (Fast And Secure Transfers) services in Singapore and a valid smartphone with a Singapore registered 8-digit mobile number.
