Citibank Thailand completes acquisition of TISCO's consumer portfolio

The bank has added over 130,000 new accounts and $150m in receivables.

Citibank Thailand has completed the acquisition of TISCO Financial Group’s Unsecured Personal Loans portfolio and All-Ways’ credit card business months after the deal was first announced in March. 

The acquisition and consequent migration of the credit card arm was completed on September 23 whilst the migration of the Unsecured Personal Loans portfolio was concluded earlier in June.

The move has since added more than 130,000 new accounts and over $150m in receivables to the bank, enabling its cardholders to access the full suite of credit card products, promotions and global privileges.

Cardholders can also tap regional and country-specific digital partnerships with a wide range of merchants including Agoda, Lazada, Airbnb and Garena and manage their card accounts on Citibank Thailand’s mobile app and social messaging platform LINE.
