OCBC NISP's head of individual customer solutions to discuss mobile banking trends in Jakarta, Indonesia

Ka Jit will be one of the panelists at the Retail Banking Forum.

Ka Jit is currently the Head of Individual Customer Solutions, responsible for product management, segment proposition, and sales strategy for individual retail customers at PT Bank OCBC NISP, Tbk. The products within his responsibilities includes deposits, wealth management, bancassurance, mortgage, credit card, and personal loan; focusing mainly to middle class and affluent customers.

He has 18 years of work experience in retail banking industry, with previous employment at Bank Bali, DBS, Citibank, and HSBC, before joining OCBC NISP since 2011. His area of expertise are on retail bank product development, wealth management, business strategy & development, channel management, customer experience, and sales & distribution.

Ka Jit will be one of the panelists at the Asian Banking and Finance Retail Banking Forum to be held on April 27, 8:30am to 12nn, at the Grand Mutiara 2, Lower Lobby Floor of the Ritz Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan.

What trends make this year an exciting one for retail banks in Asia?
We're excited about the emergence of the fintech players in Asia (especially Indonesia), and how much opportunities bank can unlock through innovation by learning and collaboration with the fintech companies for innovative financial solutions. We know that online banking currently is already a big thing, but there're still so many potential to enhance it further through UX improvements, expansion of the ecosystem and enabling synergy of the omnichannel solutions.

What are your key business philosophies?
I believe in the importance of customer focus in delivering our solutions. Customer focus should cover all aspects of product, process, people and promotion design. This require understanding of customer segment, ability to differentiate solutions, and knowledge on to best reach and engage with the customers. Our aspiration of customer experience is to deliver a transparent, simple, and convenience banking experience.

Can you give us a glimpse of what you will talk about/contribute at the panel discussion?
I would like to share about our view on the recent mobile banking trends, how we align our business to leverage these trends, the challenges we're facing and few key developments we're working on.
