An exclusive tour inside Standard Chartered's new model branch
There will be over 200 of these in around 18 countries.
According to allen international, Standard Chartered Bank has a presence in 88 countries with retail branches in 39 of them across North and South East Asia, Africa, UAE and the Indian Subcontinent.
Here's more from allen international:
Standard Chartered approached allen international with the challenge of developing a universal branch standard that consistently delivered the bank's brand promise, with controllable costs, quality of materials and layout.
The solution:
allen international created a strategy focussed on a high level of human interaction supported by delivering the 'Attract, Build, Capture' (ABC) retail communications through the use of in-branch digital technologies.
Communication to customers is delivered through managed digital media screens where customers can browse, print, email product and service data through interactive terminals. Customers and staff can interact over long distances using the latest in video conferencing.
The result:
Branches in Hong Kong have already opened with more being constructed in India, Korea, China, Nigeria, Kenya, Singapore and Malaysia. There will be over 200 new model branches in around 18 countries. There will also be a programme of enhancement to existing branches based on a 'Kit of Parts'.
