UOB to see 200 tonne-reduction in CO2e emissions with DHL pact

UOB’s international parcel deliveries will now use sustainable aviation fuel.

Singapore’s United Overseas Bank (UOB) has entered into an agreement with DHL Express to co-invest in sustainable aviation fuel for UOB’s international parcel deliveries.

UOB expects to reduce its annual emissions by 200 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalenet (CO2e).

This partnership is part of DHL’s GoGreen Plus service. Launched in February 2023, the service has reportedly teamed up with over 40,000 customres in Asia Pacific, helping them cut their carbon emissions using sustainable aviation fuel.

UOB and DHL first collaborated closely beginning 2022 to reduce UOB's carbon footprint of international parcel deliveries.
