OCB puts into operation new ATM cards
OCB will put into operation the new ATM cards and cease transactions for the old cards.
In order to put into operation the new card issuance and management system, Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank or OCB has invested $1.7 million in the first phase. At first, OCB will build 10 ATM poles, so as to reach 50 ATM poles in 2011.
At present, the bank has joined Smartlink Alliance. The OCB's card holders can withdraw, check the balance, change PIN or print transaction history in over 5,000 ATM machines under Smartlink network nationwide.
The bank will still retain transaction activities for the cardholders in both old and new system for the period from May 30 to June 30. The owners of the old ATM cards can come to OCB's head office, branches and transaction offices for changing the new ones free of charge.
