AGVB to add 31 new branches
Assam Gramin Vikash Bank will to add 31 new branches in this fiscal year to its existing tally of 369 branch networks.
The Indian regional bank is also planning to install 100 number ATMs across the State.
The bank has registered 54 percent growth in Net Profit in the fiscal year 2011-12.
S N Sahu, Chairman said that the total business of the Bank has crossed was around Rs.7485 crore as in the last fiscal thereby registering a growth of over 16 percent. The bank is planning to achieve a total Business mix of Rs.9200 crore in 2012-13, wherein target for total Deposit and advances have been fixed at Rs.5800 crore and Rs.3400 crore, respectively
He added that total clientele base of the Bank has increased to 49.88 lakh which comes around 16% of total population of the State.
